373/232. Hello-Doody-Howdy-Kitty

The first encounter of two icons of the children's entertainment industry, Hello Kitty and Howdy Doody. Their friendship was gratuitously natural . . .  or naturally gratuitous.

367. The Death Of Don't Ask, Don't Tell

In a landmark vote for gay rights, the Senate voted today to advance legislation that would overturn the blatantly discriminatory and homophobic policy of "don't ask, don't tell" (DADT).  The 63-33 test vote all but guarantees the legislation will pass the Senate and reach the president's desk before the new year. Repeal would mean that, for the first time in American history, gays would be openly accepted by the military and could acknowledge their sexual orientation without fear of being kicked out.

362/37. Ode to Mickey Rourke

Mickey Rourke confronts his inner demon self. Pretty boy and all around celebutard actor/boxer Mickey Rourke admits he went to the "wrong guy" for plastic surgery. He claims most of the facial cosmetic procedures he underwent were to correct injuries sustained from boxing, which he undertook professionally in 1991 following his stalled Hollywood career.

360. Homophobia Defined

WASHINGTON — A doubting John McCain led Republican opposition to letting gays serve openly in the military, sternly clashing with the Pentagon's top leaders and warning that troops would quit in droves if Congress repealed the "don't ask, don't tell" law. In tense exchanges with Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, McCain and other Republicans dismissed a Pentagon study on gays as biased and said objections by combat troops were being ignored. (and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah)

359. Obama Claus

An homage to the December 1963 Esquire Magazine cover featuring Sonny Liston, “the last man on earth America wanted to see coming down its chimney,”  and the 1967 classic, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner staring Sidney Poitier, as well as the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama.  Oh, and lest we forget, the notoriously generous, Santa Claus.
